Raindrop Trails

Raindrop Trails

A Poem by Lorrie

Follow the trail
see where it leads
what magic awaits
for you and me.

A sharp bend
a downward slide
will it reach
to the other side.

Collecting many
along its way
on a never-ending
course it stays.

Oh look here it ends
to sit up on the edge
Did you see the magic
that it brought.

With designs upon the pane
no two ever the same
there you see
a new trail for you and me.

Brevity is a good tool in poetry and you use it well.
