Too Ugly To Share

Sometimes when I look down

I find that what I've written

Is entirely too ugly

Or accusing ... or excusing

Or the kind of truly dark grind

That leads to only worry

And then, in quite the hurry

I tear it into tiny bits

And I dispose of it

For no matter why it's written

That fare's not meant to be shared ...

Not as long as I still care
