That's Not What Paths Do

That's Not What Paths Do

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

(They never stray from you)

"
Just finding the path
Can be hard enough
But returning to it
Is often more tough
Once you have found it
You should stick to it true
For if you don't leave it
The path won't leave you ...
That's not what paths do

I use to love to wander. I free-climbed every mountain from Big Sur to Washington State.
"The path won't leave you ...
That's not what paths do"
I agree with the above lines. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

Thank you so much. That pair of lines, despite closing the poem, were the foundation of it. ~Jim
