The years may have advanced from olden days, and the order of Knights vanished, but the killings go on and on and one and many widow's wail unseen, nobody cares. The Danites were members of a secret association of Mormons held to have been pledged to use violent means to destroy their enemies. More killings have been committed in the name of religion, more wars carried out in God's name, than any other kinds of killings or wars in the history of our sad little world. A very insightful and finely penned poem, so much said in so few metaphorical words, dear Jim. Thank you for sharing...
