A Candle (In a Dead Man's Hand)

A Candle (In a Dead Man's Hand)

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

... not yours to command ...

"
She's a candle
In a dead man's hand
She has motives
You'd not understand
Just know you'll never
Be part of her plans
For her light is not
Yours to command
She's a candle
In a dead man's hand
And she makes no stands

I believe something we will never truly know. Somethings is for us to accept as-is. I liked how you used the candle and the dead man. Maybe one day. All of us will become the walking dead? Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry. Made me think this morning.
