Louder Than Loudness ...
A Poem by Desert Knave
... should be allowed to be.
It's much louder than loudnessShould be allowed to be This constant cacophony On radio and tee-vee It's much ruder than rudeness Could ever need to be It's devoid of dignity And sickening to me This pack of screaming psychos On radio and tee-vee

We have the exact same rudeness on our radio and tv in Ireland, Jim. Only today, I was forced t switch off an afternoon show because everybody was speaking at the one time and some were trying to be heard so were louder than the rest and it was just so much unnecessary noise. I can never understand why people want to speak all at once instead of each having their say! Thank you for writing this poem. You have my sympathy having the same problem as we have here and the only answer is to switch the tv or radio off until that cacophony of noise has stopped or else be sure to have some pain relief in your cabinet for the headache which will inevitably ensue! Great write! Thank you for sharing, Jim...
