Reddening

Reddening

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

... forsooken ...

"
A tomato's reddening
Can never be quickened
And you must be cautious
With when they are pickened
For any tomato
That is too soon tooken
Just ain't all that likely
To be all that good lookin'
With its reddening forsooken

Thank you. I like to remember to have fun with poetry once in awhile. ~Jim
I feel sure this little poke will bring ripples of laughter to your friend when he/she reads it, Jim.
A very witty write! As I read I felt the tomato blush and become more red!
Lovely work, Jim! Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading...
