Current's Perchance

Current's Perchance

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

floated away

"
I floated away
In the current last night
Gave no resistance
Put up no fight
Floated away
Wearing but moonlight
Let the current's perchance
Put me alright
Till sleep was in sight

"to sleep perchance to dream"
I liked floating along with this poem.
No resistance from this reader.

Thank you. Yeah, I am not an adept sleeper, but I do try to get there. ~Jim
