Rabbit-Hole Ends

Rabbit-Hole Ends

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

a sonnet for Alice

"
I don't know where
This rabbit-hole ends
Or what all of this
Truly portends
But it's getting
Harder to pretend
That I'm not wanting
Those dividends
Alice, I'm not
Trying to offend
But, I'd love to be
More than just friends
For I must know where
This rabbit-hole ends
