Embellished

Embellished

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

An old poem I wanted to share again

"
Once relished
now embellished
the fish became a whale
The briefest fling
on summer's wings
turned into the grandest tale
Moments embraced
lightning bugs chased
nothing grandiose or sublime
Yet eventually
it became to me
the essence of a better time
