Sometimes I Just (d.t.d.)

Sometimes I Just (d.t.d.)

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

A sonnet I have messed with for awhile

"
Sometimes I just
Slide quite a ways back
Derail my progress
Right off the tracks

Sometimes I just
Let go of the wheel
Knowing the damage
Will be quite real

Sometimes I just
Toss chances away
To get nothing more
Than wasted days

Sometimes I just
Turn diamonds to dust

Thanks ! Yeah, some really are better off as dust.
Diamonds to dust… where Lizards cuz… but when the Rain falls the diamonds ♦️ shine as though Love waits for Fate… gently, Pat
