Five Seconds (Missing You)

Five Seconds (Missing You)

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

Just thoughts on a good day !

"
It took but five seconds
For me to be missing you
For me to be wishing
I was still kissing you
It took but five seconds
After you drove away
To wish to be kissing you
For at least another day
That's all the time it took
For me to be missing you
For me to miss kissing you

I remember days of loving with this kind of passion.
But those days have driven away now...many miles away.

Thanks. They had for me, but I guess 2024 is just a lucky year. ~Jim
