Diggin'
A Poem by Desert Knave
Thoughts on my life from a couple years ago
I have already dug the pitI've dug and dug and dug at it I've dug so deep that the debris Is now towering over me But instead of leaving the hole I'm still diggin' with all my soul

this reminds me of a fellow who recently had a dream indicating there was gold buried beneath his house and dug a pit down 12 stories, into which he finally fell, in an effort to reach it!!
Altho' I believe this is a true story,' it does sound a bit 'out there'
