Got arrested one Christmas eve many moons ago, with a bunch of mates, a minor drink related matter that must have slipped the attention of the fat fella in red as I still had a few pressies to open when released and home. Perhaps he'd had to many beers and mince pies to either notice or give two hoots.
Happy new year

Your poem appears to express a desire for a renewed sense of Christmas spirit and joy.
The speaker is feeling a bit "scrooge-like" or unenthusiastic about the holiday season, and they seek a remedy to uplift their mood. The use of medical and magical imagery, such as "Christmas transfusion," "magical solution," and "infusion," suggests that the speaker is looking for a transformative experience to change their attitude.
The mention of not wanting to "tick off old Saint Nick" implies a sense of accountability and a desire to remain on Santa's good list. This adds a playful and lighthearted tone to the poem, as if the speaker is acknowledging the importance of embodying the holiday spirit to receive gifts from Santa.
The repetition of the need for a Christmas infusion and interlocution suggests a sense of urgency and a longing for a last-minute intervention to ignite the festive feelings. The reference to being "naughty" and not wanting to be implies an awareness of the consequences of a negative attitude during the holiday season.
Overall, the poem combines a light, whimsical tone with a deeper sentiment of seeking joy and avoiding negativity during Christmas. It uses a blend of medical and magical language to convey the speaker's desire for a transformative experience that will rekindle the Christmas spirit within them.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment :) ~Jim
I kind of feel this way at Christmas these days...I want peace and love in the world...
but my family has gotten so small...and these days I usually just spend it by myself, kicking back.
Not the same as when we were kids.
I relate so much to this.
