Summer Solstice 2023

Summer Solstice 2023

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

Odd thoughts from June 22, 2023

"
I passed the Solstice quietly
Too busy for much revelry
I had to toss the bones, you see
Within the shortest night

I read my tea leaves carefully
To see what Summer had for me
The answers are revealed, you see
Within the shortest night

I passed the Solstice quietly
With only ghosts as company
The curtain opens up, you see
Within the shortest night
