Terminus

Terminus

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

I thought even Death deserves a nice sonnet now and then

"
She's close enough
To smell her perfume
And pretty soon
She'll enter the room
It's nothing sad
And it holds no gloom
For Terminus
Isn't really doom
It's just a step
That helps us bloom
Just the body
Remains in the tomb
The rest returns
In another womb

The cycle of death and reincarnation, is more than just wishful thinking I believe. After all, all things that have lived, will live, have died, and will die, are just apart of one thing, this karmic universe that keeps expanding and encapsulating itself.
Though, for the work to be of such depths, in which it explores the states of one's mind before Death knocks so vaguely yet so intimate and in the most relatable way, it makes the work most charming to read. Your penway is most refined, author Desert Knave.
