Crossroads '23

A Poem by Desert Knave

Back at the crossroads
Pain does not go away
It's the bread of the day
And the call to pray

Back at the crossroads
Peace has been torn apart
Rending all to the heart
And mourning must start

Back at the crossroads
Grief does not go away
And leaves those that stay
With the call to pray

Back at the crossroads
All carry heavy loads
