A "note" I've had in a box for awhile

Oh, my friend, you're "getting warm"

To fitting, perfectly, the norm

Soon you'll weather ev'ry storm

By choosing simply to conform

You'll find your safety "in the swarm"

'The Norm'
Desert Knave,
Well hello, This piece was probably more true
than not in its meaning. Coloring outside of our life
box too much can sometimes get us into trouble.
I suppose their is a time for conformity;
"getting warm and fitting perfectly the norm'.
Here's hoping we can all find a time for
adventure as well.
I enjoyed this your first poem here at writers
café and hope to enjoy more.

and yet? What fun is that...flying against the hive's intent can be so interesting.
