Emptiness

Emptiness

A Poem by Desert Thorn

There comes a time, when evereything feels all the same,
when you lose will to talk, though there's no one to blame,
when, if you had the power, you would set whole world aflame,
when you have nothing inside...and that nothing is so hard to tame.

This is very good. I like this because you're not attempting to make the poem into something its not. Writing is about capturing the essence of things and you were able to do that in four lines. The strangled emotion, the empty wall that the lover has become, were described ably. Good poem.

Short, sweet, and to the point. Everyone gets like this in life and you described that moment perfectly.
