No need to heal this wounded heart, I'd rather shut it down/ cause all that comes up is misery that drags me to the ground/ I'm growing weary with every passing moment that you cross my mind/ I'd give anything to just see you leave without saying goodbye/ because the silence would do more for me than anything you could say/ maybe something better can happen for me to make it through the night and day/ I was willing to give you all the love that you would ever need/ yet, you were so caught up in yourself, in me you wouldn't believe/ andthe only silver lining from this all that I can perceive/ is realizing that losing you was only the best for me..
