An odd poem I wrote for no reason at midnight

An odd poem I wrote for no reason at midnight

A Poem by D. Snyder
"

Title is self-explanatory?

"

There once was a land without reason,
And I assure you that this ain't no teasin',
Residents waltzed, and the meanies were beat-ed
But none, save one, knew what it all mean-ed.

The one didn't get it,
Not the way this disorder was treated,
And his patience became very depleted.

He knew not what to do
They were the red to his blue, the gum on his shoe--
But he feared that naught could be done;
Save one hadn't a clue.

He found none like him,
At least none that he needed,
And he feared if he didn't
He, too would be doomed to be eated--
By this THING, the careless flu.

He grew to be sad, understood by no-one
And knew what had to be done:
He jumped out of the sky, with no means to fly
But none to this day know why.
