Into the darkness
I fled down the sewers of yesterday Polluted minds, chaos running the streets streets of damnation, evil lurking about Hiding within the shadow underneath the streets, where they walk They filled souls with hatred the bleeding kind, that had no valve cut-off lines severed, splinted by pain boiling differences, steamed hearts Protecting what was mine where the eyes of red shone most Tunnels sprouted in every direction small to big- like runaway weeds Some were okay, others you knew not They breathed off of your fear Encased in passion, a career they assumed manifested over the years- to become dead Societies fate left in there bloody, soiled palms Taking from the poor, giving to the money hungry Calling it "Helping economy", while it was the opposite Lured into hearty homes, and appetites Splendor was not innocent here, it swarmed towns always the lonely, the sad harnessed there thirst (c) © 2012 DepthWriter |
