You're AwesomeA Poem by Denham ColeIt's so bright at writers cafe
You're looking at a
square, but they're calling it a star. You see there's
nothing there and it gets too bizarre When the crack pots
cry inside a bell jar: “It’s truth what I
think: Your s**t don’t stink!” It doesn’t make sense, and none can be found When the simpletons’
ditty strikes them profound. But when they confess
it, they aint horsing ‘round: “It’s truth what I
think: Your s**t don’t stink!” Believe them and you
risk a case of stunted growth. You were suspect at
first, but it seemed an hearty oath - They were billing you
up as the next von Goethe... “It’s truth what I
think: Your s**t don’t stink!” So you’re looking
at a herd of goofy toothed ducks Amping up the wattage on your luminous flux. You’re an absolute
talent, with they at the crux: “It’s truth what I
think: Your s**t don’t stink!”
