This novel is about a college student whose fate is something she never expected and that could change her life forever - that is, to investigate a crime scene that happened within her school.

PROLOGUE

Running for my life is something I never could have imagined.

I never knew I'd be chased by some psychotic killer at the depths of somewhere I couldn't decipher as of the moment.

This scene appeared to be a c**k and bull story squirming in my thoughts.

Panting. Screaming through my head.

I still want to live. I still want to cherish this gift of life.

I still want to hear the laughter of my friends,

the gentle voice of mom,

the caring statements of my older brother,

the irritating teases of my childhood friend.

I still want to do the things I really want to do.

Reading and painting to my heart's content.

Do I really deserve death right here and then?

For crying out loud, what have I done to be entitled of this cruel fate?

PREVIEW

Alicia Ava Parker, a college student, is accused of a crime she didn't commit. Her peaceful college life is ruined because of this serious accusation. To regain her reputation, she is forced to sleuth / investigate a murder scene she vaguely witnessed in a deserted place of her school, University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). In order to protect the people close to her, she has decided to do the sleuthing alone. However, this is later discovered by her childhood friend, Phineas Jones. Will she allow her childhood friend to get involved in solving this deadly mysterious case?
