Where did it begin?

Somewhere today something went wrong.
I’m not sure which decision
Which thing so far from my control
Took the toll
Threw things so far off course.
It wasn’t today-was it?
It wasn’t last night.
There was a turning point somewhere.
Somewhere it all changed.

At some point,
I changed.

The real question isn't 'at what point did I change?' more.. 'when and why did the change become so great as to draw such attention as this?'
