Maybe in a Minor KeyA Poem by Dennis Shanaberg...(or How Many Cliched Lines Can You Fit In One Song, You Talentless Hack)
The monotony is all consuming me,
And I don’t think that I can breathe... ( ( Or I don’t want to ) ) ! And repeatedly, I find it’s on repeat. Oh well - Least I don’t have to think. I don’t want to be here Anymore. Forgotten where I started for. There has to be an Open door, But each tepid knock Always Goes Ignored. It’s never gonna be enough! No, it’ll never be enough! I was raised with such a great need to please All those who don’t give a f**k about me. ( ( No. I don’t need you ) ) ! So sick of scoffs at my burnt offerings ( ( maybe I’m the problem ) ) ! I can’t help but to think... It’s never gonna be enough! No, it’ll never be enough! It’s never gonna be enough! I’m never gonna be enough... For me. © 2021 Dennis ShanabergReviews
