to tired Too try

to tired Too try

A Poem by Dennis Shanaberg

All thats left to do
Is to give up, oh we’re through
Theresynothing left that s true
When we’ve livedsuch lies
All that I can say
Is I dont have much to say
That’s why ive been hiding away
And biding my time

Now, the danger is here
Let’s all dance in the fear
There’s no christ left to steer
As we push it into high gear

I have given up hope
And everything Ihave evet known
Gonna let these monstrs grow
From dark valleys below
These are the seeds wehve sewn
Atop these crumbling tombstones
When colder winds stattto blow,
We shAll collapse on rottin thrones

I’m betting
It’s getting
Close
To
The end
No hoping
Just coping
Asleep
In
Our lonely beds.
This is apocalyptic.
Most respond in apathy.
But the apoplectic
Banished for blasphemy.

I’m so tired
But. I can. Not sl eep
I wanna do something!
But may. Be wecan try again nxtweek. ...

Couple typos in the there but overall a pretty solid write. You can feel this one, it's not exactly a pleasant feeling but that's not exactly the point, I imagine.

We can't give in, we must go forward. Sometime we need place, new job and new people. Once I held a 30/30 to my head. Saved by a phone call and I saved many. I am still helping many. I hope you are doing okay.
