Meteors and Matrimony

Meteors and Matrimony

A Poem by Dennis Shanaberg

Let me entwine
With your mind
And lift you up
To the skies.
Shining bright,
We alight the night.

Immortal flame
Tell me your name
If it is not love?

Coalesce,
Constellate,
The vesper we become.
Shooting stars
In the dark
With one burning heart.

Mi amour,
Fall with me
To empyreal shores.

Radiate
Tesselate
Birth to this divine dawn.
The paradigm
Of paradise
Is the paragon of our love.
