Dualistic Realizations

Dualistic Realizations

A Poem by Dennis Shanaberg

Rapidly, I repel down ropes

Residing in Rabbit holes--

Resisting realizations--

Relinquishing reality.

Rightfully, I’m rageful

In restricted revery--

Rarely ever restful--

Rapidly arresting.

Cardiac Explosion

Mentally Imploding

Dissected Psychic Sanity

Or Blissful in banality…

Deadliest Derision

Is daily Indecision--

Dangerous Division--

Dualistic our Delusions.

So drab in dank Darkness

diving to demonic depths

Or Delighting in dumb dalliance

Of derided dapper days.

This is very good poetry. The above lines were my favorite. I like the use of language and direct description in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

The alliteration keeps the flow going. It is amazing to see so many instances of alliteration in the same poem. A brilliant write. =))
