The Heaven TenseA Poem by Dennis Shanaberg![]() Riddled with ridiculous rosaries...![]() Believe. Believe. Believe in He. Believe. Believe in the Unseen. Believe. Believe. Believe in Thee. Believe. Believe. Believe in Me. Riddled with ridiculous rosaries, I’m required to know what they mean. Bashfully beaten with the believin’ word, While the works they do become obscene. Hatred heaved out in the heaven tense Has a holier harridan sheen. Carefully crossing off those unclean From the comfortable Christly scene. We clean. We cull. We remand them all. They’ll fall Unseen. Till they’re all like me. © 2014 Dennis ShanabergReviews
