Celestial LoverA Poem by Dennis ShanabergShe reached into the darkness ’N’ removed handfuls of me. It took a fair long while, Before I was then complete. She shook off all the shadows That were clinging to my skin. Her eyes blazed with bright sunshines That made me whole again. I hate the days When she’s away Cuz I am Invisible In the dark. I am the moon That reflects The beauty That blazes out From her. Nothing in the universe Or all all creation-wide Could match the spark and shine In her ever glowing eyes. Her body is celestial. It has on me such a pull That’s transformed my very mind. My heart is rising at high tide. © 2014 Dennis ShanabergReviews
