For Her

He longed for the feeling of her skin against his skin or to hear the sound of her voice just one more time.

But he knew that no matter what, none of his desires would come true;

for the rest of his life he would long for these sensations but would never be able to feel them ever again.

What he once had was long gone and he had to realize that no matter how much he prayed or begged God,
