The boy they called Death cont....

A Story by Denis

I wasn't sure what to expect the the next morning when I woke up; I started thinking it was just all some weird dream or maybe I was just finally going crazy. After I took a shower and got dressed I headed down stairs to make myself breakfast; as I headed down stairs I could hear noise coming from the kitchen. I grabbed my bat that was in the living room then headed to the kitchen; I figured if it was a burglar I should try and catch the crook by surprise. I slowly walked towards the kitchen, once I reached the entrance I took one last breath then jumped into the kitchen screaming.
'Stop criminal!" My voice was a bit soft after tiring myself from jumping.
When I got my bearings I realized it wasn't a criminal it was the girl that was in my room last night; she was siting on the counter eating a bowl of cereal.
"Did you seriously just say that; if I was a criminal I would have shot your a*s just for saying that."
"You didn't think it was scary? I thought I was pretty scary." I could feel my face turning bright red fro embarassment.
She just snickered.
I grabbed a bowl from the cabinet and started pouring myself some cereal. "Your out of milk." she said as I walked towards the fridge. I took in a deep breath, "okay that's it."
"It's one thing to break into my room late at night but taking the last of the milk is where I draw the damn line."
In a rage I turned towards her grabbing the bowl of cereal out of her hand and starting eating it.
"This is my cereal."
Before I could get a sweet taste of cereal victory she jumped off the counter and had a sword to my throat.
"Do you want your cereal back?" I said nervously  handing her the cereal back feeling the cold blood against my throat.
She took the bowl and took her spot back on the counter.
"We need to start preparing you for the changes that are going to start happening to you, we don't have much time."
"What do you mean changes?" I was focused on the word changes.
She finished her cereal and put the bowl in the sink before answering.
"Your skin is going to become pale....well more pale than it already is."
"I'm not that pale." I started checking myself out in the mirror realizing she was right.
"You know it get pretty cloudy here a lot."
She didn't seemed thrilled with my responce she just rolled her eyes.
"There are some more changes that you are going to go through that are a lot worse than you turning into Casper. You're nails will become gray in color and you will gain certain abillities."
Nervous by what abillities she meant I didn't answer.
"Since you are now Death yo are going to be able to be able to bring people back to life just by touch or thinking about it."
"That doesn't seem so bad, I can save people."
She looked at me for a moment before answering.
"You're also going to be able to take someone's life as well."
This abillity I wasn't too happy about
"In the beginning you're not going to be able to control it, if you get too angry at someone you can end up killing them without even touching them. That's why we need to start training as soon as we can so you don't kill that many people."
