Revelation of a Realization

Revelation of a Realization

A Poem by Demyra
"

The world around me...

"

Living contradiction, suffocating constrictions,

No goal or mission, you’re worth s**t…

Your voice a siren droning in my ear,

The world would be better without you here.

Hey, maybe someday you’ll make a revelation,

And fall numb to a misery inducing realization.

Your life is a lie and you breathe just to die,

You deny the flint in your eye by saying you’re too proud to cry.

Someday you’ll make a revelation,

See you’ve been nothing but an imitation.

Someday you’ll make a revelation…

Hopefully, before you die.

You’ll articulate yourself through an idol’s senseless word?

When all is said and done, if someone’s hurt it’s just a game.

You raise your voice just because you want to be heard,

But in the end all your words are the f*****g same.

Integrated isolation, intentional imprisonment,

Too pathetic to realize you choke on your own words.

Your face an irritation inside of my mind,

A reminder of the revelation you have yet to find…

Living contradiction, suffocating constrictions,

No goal or mission, you’re worth s**t…

Your voice a siren droning in my ear,

The world would be better without you here.

Hey, maybe someday you’ll make a revelation,

And fall numb to a misery inducing realization.

Your life is a lie and you breath just to die,

You deny the flint in your eye by saying you’re too proud to cry.

Someday you’ll make a revelation,

see you’ve been nothing but an imitation.

Someday you’ll make a revelation…

Hopefully, before you die.
