That girl you see
Her life as hurtful as it can be

She's tied to her life by horrible chains

But you see her at school
Happy, safe, secure

She dreams of a person who understands her hurt
But no one shows them love, so there's blood on her shirt

"Help me! Help me!" she screams at night
Her parents don't know, they've gone in flight
SHE HURTS
But then one day, there came another
One she treated like more than a brother
He kissed her scars, and told her to stop
She no longer had to face the cops
She stopped her drinking, no longer cut
Her heart, she no longer had to shut
She loved him, he loved her
Forever and ever, they'll be together

Great rhyme, smooth darkness all along with the light at the end of the tunnel. I like to see from time to time a happy ending, and I'm glad I've seen yours.

I like the repetition used.
It creates a profound impact.
I love the positive end.
Optimism is what makes my day.
And sometimes, all we need is one person, one single person, to lift us out of our hell..to give us hope..
I dont know about the 'forever love'..but i do believe that some people teach you to love yourselves..and that is more permanent.
