The Crow and The Cross

The Crow and The Cross

A Story by Elle M.
"

My favorite thing to see in the world is a single crow sitting on the top of a churches cross. It just looks so cool and mysteriousness!

"
Such Irony is it
When the cursed bird perches
High up on the churches top
The black bird calls to the dead
Mourning its loss
It's feather's ruffle in the wind
It changes from one arm to the other
But it settles on the top
Oh the irony of the Crow and The Cross

I should like to write this myself, but I shall refrain. A good read, deserving of a greater popularity. I love the irony represented and the imagery hidden inside. Thank you for another good read, and another pensive mood.
