Lullaby for my Dragon

Lullaby for my Dragon

A Poem by Dementhia

My Dearest
Do you hear my whispers
Chanting your name like a lullaby?

Late into the night
When lips bloom into kisses
And words of love that make Heaven sigh

I've dreamt of you, Dearest
And I prayed to God,
Never to lose you, whilst I'm alive

So hush now, my sweet love,
And rest your dark eyes.

I'll lend you hands, and my heart, and my pride.
