Story in a Sigh

Story in a Sigh

A Poem by Dementhia

There’s something strange

That you hold inside

That blissful smile.

Refreshing, like a breeze by the ocean,

Yet heavy, like the Autumn rain.

In the end

I couldn’t choose

How to play the game.

Whether to whisper that I love you

Or try to soothe the pain.

A new day dawns

With you in my arms

And a shiny loving gaze.

And in it’s glory up high

Our lips have touched.

All that was left was a sigh.
