No one understands

im not happy all the time

my father

a abusive

cowardly

scary

peedophile.

my mother

let it happen

she knew

she didnt care

my brothers treat me

like a slave

my sister

pushed me about

i hated life

but i braved it

walked around

with a smile on my face

and it worked

they figured it out

i got sent to a foster home

i was free

all the more reason

to smile and

walk away

Life can be very hard and it feel so good to read to braved some of the hardest things.. I hope you find peace and happiness. This piece is good not only from a poetry point of view but also because it shows your strength.

The structure you've got going on here is roughly two to three words per line. So, the lines:
'My brothers treat me' - 'My brothers
Treat me'
'Pushed me about' - 'Pushed me'
'With a smile on my face' - 'With a smile'
'And it worked' - 'It worked'
'I got sent to a foster home' - 'I was sent away
To a Foster Home'.

Try reducing them to around two to three words. Examples are above. :D
