Welcome to Grover's MillA Poem by Delmar CooperRewrite of a poem from "Country Folks"
Welcome to Grover's Mill
They landed right there, Right there in the beanfield. They chose us.Imagine. We greeted them with glee and laughter, Country music, Flowers, And homemade Bundt cake. We, in our childlike innocence, Could know nothing of their evil intent. They, in their arrogant ignorance, Could know nothing Of poisoned Bundt cake. © 2014 Delmar CooperAuthor's Note
