Bury Me Alive

Bury Me Alive

A Poem by Elizabeth Gonzalez
"

A little poem about heartbreak and despair.

"

With every addictive touch there came a sudden darkness upon her soul.

A sudden mourning that shook her to the core, and with every move he left her wanting more.

 Tear away

 break her free

 leave her be.

Like the perfect portrait his colors burst and his beauty radiates, but in the dark his shadows come out to play.

Drawl her in, breathe her, then hypnotize her.

Convince her you’re the one for eternity.

Spin her for there is nothing in her

He has left her hollow.. numb, nothing but a shell of what she used to be.

Looking down upon her you can see her grief.

Her tone pale,

her skin cold yet she struggles to breath.

Six feet under her body rest, down in a bed of soil forevermore.

One day she will walk away. One day she will be alive again.

Away from her tomb she will break.

Away from his sadistic games.

But until then buried she will remain.
