A Poem by DeliriousCerises
"

Obession, Love's darker cousin

"
Stay close to me
 I need
   Your scent
      Your warmth
         Your life

Talk to me
 I like
   Your voice
      Your face
         Your body

Allow me in
 I have to
   see you
      hold you
         have you

Living in your shadow
 is almost enough
   to keep me happy
   to keep me warm
   to keep me at bay

Keep my heart
 I gave you
   my love
      my breath
         my devotion

Ease your mind
 I want to
   keep you safe
      keep you perfect
         keep you in the dark

Read between the lines
 You are
    my obsession
      my world
         my everything

Be mine, as I am yours.

such is desire, to obsess, such is the poet, to render form to the idea,
this is the intimate portrayal of the effect of a spell cast by a muse
over a lover, in insight, to know passion then render all, a remarkable
design brings the flow to life, it's a haunting melody,
you have talent, keep it up ^_^

Incredible! :D

The movement of the words across the page is a nice touch - mirroring the movement of the stalker, obviously.

I like how you almost empathise with the obsessed, as to put forward the idea their minds are so diluted and taken over by the thought of an invasive notion to the point where rational cognitive thought is hard come by.

The rhythm of the piece changes, slowing towards the middle before restarting once more at the end, as if the stalker had stopped halfway through to admire, wonder at his quarry before continuing. Very, very nice.

Wow, this is awesome! Though i personally don't like stalkers. This seems like what they think in their minds. That the object of their obsession is their life, their means, their everything. Nicely done.

This is really good, unique and a little haunting. Makes me think of unrequited love in the saddest form. It's beautifully depressing and delirious and I want the speaker to have the one thing they want most of all. I love it!
