Reassembling Me

Reassembling Me

A Poem by DelicateMae

My body thirsts for you.
I'm enslaved by you
that I have no space
for anything else.
Words, imagery, prose
no longer quench
the desire in me.
I quiver at the thought
of opening myself to you,
of you tasting the dew
from my petal,
gradually coming undone
only to have you gather me,
piece by piece,
reassembling me until
I become the girl
you yearn to possess.

Aye I guess, for those who have any; lol!
i am in agreement with Chris...I like poems that suggest more than blatant eroticism...
they actually are more sensual...and this poem speaks not just of a physical want, but mental and emotional as well.'

Thank you. :)
That passion can burn like a full fire. Your words put together your thoughts in a delicate way that is soft. I think that relates to your personality as a romantic. That's not a bad thing to be. ;)
