creativity bounds unfettered from end to end of the net,

speaking in the bits and bytes of infinte freedom of expression.

truth calls from its hidden corners and beckons from digital ramparts. 

here is place where it is safe to let your freak flag fly high and proud, 

where information is free and so are you,

to speak your mind loud and clear on the bandwith that spans the world.

where budding curiosity and expert advice, novice and master, meet.

here is where the lines drawn indellibe on paper smear and blur 

and rules written in binary overwrite the analog of reality.

here in a world created in the minds of men and by their hands 

you are cyber gods if only for a transitory nanosecond.

so, who are these people who come in knowing nothing of this place

comapring it to the dead waves of radio

to raze and lay waste to what should be your safest haven.

let them come with their pitchforks on this pirate hunt 

but we sill sit strong and tight 

fighting in lines of code and poetry

battling one blackout at a time

shouting until out speakers blow out 

screaming on the networks

It seem the leaders in the Senate and House don't care. Next election people who want freedom need to vote out these men who want control. The real fear in the 20 million Americans becoming desperate. Low paying jobs and no hope will make the people in-charge want control of thoughts and action of their people. SOPA is wrong and the leaders of this country are afraid. Thank you for the powerful poem. Too many people had died for the right of freedom of speak and to communicate our thoughts on paper or in voice.
