Night

Night

A Poem by Absentee Reality Check

 A flash of light

A stone dropped into a pool

The world ceases its motion

And waits to see what comes next

Beams clash and skitter across the view

A cacophony of panoramic vision erupts

Darkness falls

With stars written in the sky like words

Then a voices echoes out

“Boy! That sure was a great movie!”

NIGHT IS poetic imagery in motion...
I especially love these words: "A cacophony of panoramic vision erupts
Darkness falls With stars written in the sky like words... " & "the world ceases its motion"
Great staccato flow.
thanks for sharing.

Haha, loved the analogy. Fun, yet true! Lots of things happen at night (or in this case, a movie-theatre) when the viewing is ripe.
