the sun

the sun

A Poem by Absentee Reality Check
"

literally about what the title says, the sun...

"

The sun kisses and caresses

like a lover languid after

a night of lovemaking.

the warmth soakes up and

seeps into my very marrow

even in the chill of winter.

it can capture you and tangle you

up in its honeyed warmth.

I love your use of the word languid.
that's such a good word.
"honeyed warmth" is a great phrase, adds so much to the poem.
