Song/Poem written for my ex girlfriend.

If you could reach up and touch the stars, would you take your chances?
Or spend the rest of your life not knowing, how it feels? Because girl
your voice is much too beautiful for you to just be along for the ride,
speak up and have no regrets. You say I'm amazing, but don't sell
yourself short. Take what you can from life, it's the only way to
survive. If you doubt yourself, remember that confidence is key. And if
you can't swim, don't hesitate to jump in the deep end. Because when you
falter, I'll be there to pick up the pieces, to make everything okay.
So next time you're faced with something you're unsure about, just
follow your heart, because consequences make fools out of all of us.
