Finding Confidence Again

Finding Confidence Again

A Poem by Dee

images of sadness
Broken branches of a strong tree
That once stood tall, so free
You'd think he was proud
Till he bared its soul and came breaking down

The storm hit
With no where to go
Love was only a shadow
And trying to drown in a reality
That never existed
Was the downfall experienced

Somewhere a dream was trying to flourish
But could never believe in himself
He saw everything that was beautiful
Everything he ever wanted
Was right in front of him
But his confidence was non existent

Trying to find himself again
Planting his feet into the ground
Not gonna get shaken
Firmly believing in who he is
Even with everyone's torment of opinions
This is finding confidence again

Dee
Just about having confidence then losing it, then finding it again.
