A Poem by Dee

I want to see the day
Where the sun's shining again
And this race I barely won is done

Moving in one direction
But lost in confusion
This life isn't done with me yet

Seeing what I want
Yet not having it at all
Wishing it could be in my arms
But my body is not that strong
To with stand this storm
I guess I'm learning to let go

Seeing it fade with time
But one day this life will be mine
To not feel this suppression
To no longer see the depression
The warmth of her glow
I hate having to know
Because its what I have to let go
