Shedding of the WombA Poem by Dani-ipsIts a poem about which most people thought was about Female Infanticide. But, no, its a real story to be honest. It's about a mother who lost her conceived child and later was told to deliver it.Sweet meadow tat she could behold, the dew reflects it here today. The fresh dew that could be touched, Is now new, awaiting the soothing rays. Carols and blessings have now faded, scarlet is now what is seen. Laughter and lullabies are no more, as the darkness veils them again. Oh! How she would smile and welcome the sun, caressing her chest. Asking it to warm the one, Dependant on her; in her motherly nest. Tighten hands gave her the strength then, and her motionless smile showed it all. Her hands would never cup to hold her again, As her soul and the pain was now gone. Stained, dark and lost, Seemed she was alone in her kingdom. As what was resting was now ‘latched’, found was she on a blind alley yet a never ending road. The puking mouth now called out to her, seeing her struggle in the rain. Feeling the lush of blood she said- “Parting from you, this world, I am never going to see you again”. © 2016 Dani-ipsAuthor's Note
